About The Show

The 22nd Annnual Panto will run from January 10th-17th 2015.

Little Red Riding Hood, written by the ingenious Phillip Brennan and John Morton, will be bringing old style panto back to the Watergate Theatre. They have managed to take the classical tale and root it in a local setting, giving it a fresh twist and transforming it into razor sharp and hilarious script.

To bring this new script to life, Kevin Mooney has willingly undertaken the immense task of director. Though new to Watergate productions, he’s no stranger to the stage both on and off, having recently written and performed in the highly acclaimed “Some Flood” at the Tiger Dublin fringe festival, with Devious Theatre. His directing credits also include “Time’s Tide” in 2012 with Disaffection Theatre, “Stags and Hens” in 2009 with Devious Theatre, to mention just a few.

Musical directorship will be taken on by the illustrious Kevin Reade and choreography by the ever talented Gemma Grant of the Bunclody Academy of Dance.
